An otoscope is a device used to examine the ear canal, and a Transparent Ear Speculum is a cone-shaped, transparent viewing portion of the otoscope that is gently placed into the ear canal while the otoscope is being observed. The speculum is angled marginally toward the nose of the person to follow the canal. A light beam extends beyond the viewing point of the speculum. Moreover, to see the canal walls and eardrum, the otoscope is softly adjusted to various angles.
